The repurposing intern will help continue our mission to reduce our food waste. They will collaborate with the Cafe and FDN branches to determine what (if any) food is left over and how we can “repurpose” this food to be used again. Experience with Slow Food or in a kitchen is preferred. We are looking for someone with creative ideas for transforming food and making Slow Food UW even more sustainable.
Average Time Commitment
- 3-5 hours per week
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Available one day a week to plan creative recipes to repurpose excess food
- Works well independently and in collaboration with the Cafe and FDN teams
