Project Description

The SFUW Cafe is a student-run, not-for-profit weekly cafe held every Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm. However, even with limited hours, demand for good, homemade food is high, which necessitates our commitment to operating at the level of any other food establishment.  We strive to offer locally sourced, sustainable food on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus for very affordable and transparent prices. As an intern, you are expected to help with prep (preparation of ingredients) on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings, service (serving the food) Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm, and clean up afterward.  You will also be expected to attend a weekly menu planning meeting where the following weeks’ menus will be decided.
